the

aspects

this
site.
WHO: The New Warriors Source was designed in it's entirety by me. Who am I? In the online universe I go by the alias speedbaldwin. But I want to stress that this site is not one fan's site. The New Warriors Source is, or rather I want it be, a community for New Warriors fans. This site belongs to all New Warriors fans. I'm just the person that oversees it's development. That being said, I truly want The New Warriors Source to be the type of place where everyone can feel free to contribute. I want to encourage active involvement in order to make the site a wonderful resource. Whether that involvement is just by joining the NW Source Forum and participating in the discussions there or if you want to take a larger role and offer assistance with the content of the site. Make yourselves comfortable. This is our refuge. This is our Crashpad.
WHY: I love the New
Warriors. New Warriors vol. 1, #1 was the first comic book I
ever bought.
New
Warriors
was the first comic book I read when I bought new
comics because I couldn't wait to find out what happened. I fell in
love with the characters and tracked down every previous appearance that I
could find. I've followed their adventures through three series and
beyond. So I decided to take my love for the New Warriors and create
the best website that I possibly could. WHEN:
The
New
Warriors
Source
has
been
in
development
for
quite
some
time.
Mostly
because
it
was
a
lot
of
work
and
I
tend
to
shy
away
from
things
like
work.
I
began
creating
the
site
in
early
2006.
Then
I
began
recreating
the
site
again
in
mid
2006
due
to
a
frustrating
navigational
system.
I
lazily
worked
on
it
from
time
to
time,
adding
a
few
synopses
here
and
a
character
profile
there
until
I
felt
that
I
was
getting
close
to
being
able
to
launch
the
site.
It
was
at
this
point
(January
2007)
that
I
decided
to
remodel
the
site
for
the
third
time
before
I
ever
even
launched
it.
Crazy,
I
know.
The
New
Warriors
Source
finally
went
live
in
February
of
2007,
although
still
under
considerable
construction.
