Synopsis:  A news story featuring the newest incarnation of New Warriors is being watched by the Avengers.  When Wolverine notices Wondra on the screen he takes a closer look and then leaves the room after he apparently recognizes her.  The same news broadcast is also being watched by Tony Stark and Ms. Marvel.  Tony Stark decides that in order to keep these New Warriors from hurting themselves or others that he is going to make them on offer that they can't refuse.

Inside the New Warriors base of operations, Night Thrasher is trying to convince Sofia to join the New Warriors.  Sofia refuses saying that she is happy with her new life and that she doesn't have powers anymore.  Night Thrasher tosses her a small round disk.  When Sofia asks what it is, Night Thrasher replies that it is her future.  Sofia then asks Barry to take her back.  A group of people is shown watching from on observation deck and Night Thrasher tells them it's time to get back to work.

Later, Detective Sykes and Givens are discussing yet another villain apparently apprehended by the New Warriors.  Detective Givens asks how they know for sure that all of the previous New Warriors involved in the Stamford accident are really dead.

Sofia awakens from another dream of herself still having her powers.  In her dream, she and her former teammates are fighting the Blob.  After the battle, she is kissing her former boyfriend, Julian Keller, a.k.a. Hellion.  After she awakens she looks at a photograph of her former teammates at the Xavier Institute, The New Mutants squad. 

While Sofia is walking to work she stops to give a meal to the Sam, a homeless man she has developed a friendship with.  She talks to him about a difficult choice she has to make without giving any details.  Sam tells her that she can either play it safe or that she can do what she really wants to do.  In her mind, she is still envisioning herself as a hero.

Meanwhile, Tony Stark has called a press conference in which he is addressing the New Warriors.  He offers them all amnesty for the past crimes of operating without being licensed if they join the Initiative program.  Sofia, caught off guard by the news broadcast at work spills food on a costumer.  She get's in trouble with her boss for being late to work and for watching the television instead of focusing on her job.  As her punishment, he puts her on alley duty.  As she is pulling the trash can through the alley, she drops the metal disk given to her by Night Thrasher and runs over it with the wheel of the trash can.  She picks it up and looks it, then tosses it aside.  As it lands in the alley it explodes into a mess of webs, resembling Spider-Man's webbing.  Just then, Jubilee shows up to talk to Sofia. 

After Sofia leaves work, she is walking with Jubilee.  They are talking about how Sofia has adjusted to life with her powers.  Sofia tells Jubilee that she still has dreams about when she had powers.  She also tells her that she was approached by the New Warriors to join their team.  Sofia says that she can't get their offer out of her head.  Jubilee then reveals that she is a member of the New Warriors.  Sofia, still refusing to join, asks how they could help the world when they don't have any powers.  Jubilee, wearing the gauntlets worn by Wondra, then punches a brick wall, shattering it and explains that having no powers is not a problem.
