Synopsis:  The Grey Gargoyle is shown running from unknown assailants.  After a brief battle he is mysteriously shrunken to the size of a small toy and apprehended by Wondra who tells him to warn everyone that this was only the beginning.  On a subway, Sofia is awakened by a recurring nightmare about her powers being taken away by the Scarlet Witch.  As she exits the subway station on her way to work, she is given a hand held computer by a bum who was paid to deliver it to her.  An unknown voice speaks to her over her mp3 player explaining that they know about her past as a mutant.  While close by, three detectives are investigating the scene of the previous night's encounter with Grey Gargoyle, who has been taped to a pole with a note attached reading "NW."  Shortly after, Detective Givens notices the words "The New Warriors were here" spray painted on the ground of the scene.  Sofia arrives at her waitress job late, where she is threatened to be fired by her boss.  A regular customer, Barry, is waiting at a table for her and he asks her out on a date.  Later that evening at Sofia's apartment she is contacted again by the same person as earlier, this time through her computer.  Sofia figures out that her mysterious caller is from the same vigilante group that has recently been in the news, The New Warriors.  The mysterious caller invites her to join their cause.  She refuses at first because she no longer has her powers.  However, she then agrees to meet the unknown caller after he or she points out that not all heroes have powers.  Meanwhile, Detectives Sykes and Givens discover another villain apprehended by what appears to be Spider-Man's webbing.  Later, Sofia is shown waiting to meet her unknown caller when Barry shows up.  Confused at first, Sofia quickly figures out that Barry is involved with the vigilante group too.  Angrily, she slaps him for deceiving her.  Barry then tells Sofia that they knew each other from the Xavier Institute, although his appearance has changed and that she once knew him as Beak.  Surprised and relieved, Sofia hugs Barry.  Barry then teleports them both back to the New Warriors base of operations where she is welcomed by someone wearing the original Night Thrasher armor.
