they will force have to force him. The Left Hand tells Night
Thrasher that if he joins them The Folding Cirlce will fulfill a pact
forged by their fathers. The fulfillment of this pack, Night
Thrasher is told, will help them understand the truths about their
pasts. Night Thrasher agrees to join the Folding Circle.
At Mt. Sinai Hospital Tai uses her mysterious power to revive
Chord. When he wakes up she tells him to tell the other
New Warriors that they will have to stop her to save Night
Thrasher. She then apologizes to him for killing both his wife
and daughter, who she reveals to him is Silhouette. At the Crash
Pad Speedball, Nova, Namorita, and Firestar are watching the news
coverage regarding the jury selection for Marvel Boy's trial when
Silhouette shadow melts through the ceiling and crashes to the
floor. Silhouette tells them that they need to save her father,
Chord, from Tai. In Cambodia, The Folding Circle is making their
way through the jungle as they are being watched from the trees by a
group the Left Hand refers to as the Dragon's Breadth. The New
Warriors are at Mt. Sinai Hospital waiting to see Silhouette when she
bursts though the door to inform them that Chord is now awake.
Chord tells them that, his speech now impeded, that Tai is in Cambodia
because of the Pact. He tells them that the Pact is what made
Dwayne what he is and that it's also the reason that his parents were
killed. When Namorita asks Chord if he knows who killed Dwayne's
parents, Chord tells them that he did. Later, in Brooklyn, the
Warriors pay a visit to Eldon Holiday, a.k.a. Rage, whom they had met
previously with the Avengers. The Warriors ask Rage, a trainee
member of the Avengers, if he will help them steal an Avengers quinjet
so that they can fly to Cambodia. In Queens, the New Warriors
are trying to attract the attention of Darkhawk so that they can ask
him for his help in confronting Tai in Cambodia. At the
Crashpad, the Warriors are discussing whether or not they should ask
the Avengers for use of the quinjet or just take it. They decide
that the Avengers would never believe their story and that they must
steal the quinjet. At this time, Firestar tells the others that
she will not go to Cambodia and instead will be staying behind to
support Vance during his trial. The rest of the Warriors, with
the help of Rage and Darkhawk, make their way inside Avengers Mansion,
where they break off the roof doors and steal a quinjet. Back in
the jungle of Cambodia. the Folding Circle are attacked by the
servants of the Dragon's Breadth Cult. Using lethal force,
except for Night Thrasher, they overcome their attackers. Silk
Fever then burns down the jungle canaopy to reveal a hidden temple,
the Temple of the Dragon's Breadth. On the temple steps are
guards who are wearing armor that closely resemble the design of Night
Thrasher's own armor.
