Synopsis:  The Folding Circle break into the international headquarters of Project: Earth in order to recruit the Force of Nature member, Firewall into their group.  She accepts the Left Hand's invitation in order to learn about her past.  In Manhattan, Firestar goes to Namorita looking for Marvel Boy.  Namorita tells Firestar about the fight between Vance and his father and that Vance is in jail.  Firestar and Namorita meet Speedball and Nova in Saugerties where they meet Foggy Nelson, who will be representing Vance in court.  The New Warriors get to talk to Vance inside where he tells them what has happened.  Rachel Dreyfuss, the district attorney who will be prosecuting Vance, comes in and inform the New Warriors that they shouldn't leave town during Vance's trial because she plans to subpoena them to testify against him.  At Mt. Sinai Hospital Silhouette is visiting Chord when she is startled by Tai who was hiding in the shadows.  In Hong Kong, Night Thrasher is hacking into the Taylor Foundations secret files using the access codes given to him by Tatsu'o.  He discovers a file that contains all the illegal activities the foundation is involved in.  Just then he is attacked by The Folding Circle.  Midnight's Fire subdues him.  As a guard enters, Bloodstrike accidentally kills him causing a strange marking to appear on his chest and and his arms, legs, and waist are wrapped in pink bands.  Back at Mt. Sinai hospital, Tai tells Silhouette that her parents did not die when she was a baby.  She tells Silhouette that her mother came to visit Chord because he is her father.  Tai then tells Silhouette that she killed her mother who was also her daughter.  Tai then blasts Silhouette through the building telling her that she will not allow anyone to prevent the fulfillment of the Pact.  At Saugerties General Hospital a doctor tells Norma Astrovik, Detective Mason, and Rachel Dreyfuss that Arnold Astrovik has just died.
