Title: Mirror Moves
Writer: Fabian Nicieza
Penciler: Mark Bagley
Synopsis:
The New Warriors are in a training session when Tai enters holding a
newspaper and screaming for Dwayne. The photo shows three dead
police officers with a note that reads, "Thrashed by the
night." Night Thrasher tells the other New Warriors about
his past working with Midnight's Fire and Silhouette.
Previously, they had worked together to take down gangs who were
extorting money from people in exchange for protection. During
an exchange with a gang that Silhouette was working undercover with a
police officer stumbled upon their dealings. The gang opened for
on the police man and Silhouette was caught in the crossfire,
presumably dead. Midnight's fire blamed Night Thrasher for her
death, with he though could've been prevented. The New Warriors,
without Night Thrasher (who fears Midnight's Fire), decide to confront
Midnight's Fire about the death of the three police officers.
When they find Midnight's Fire Night Thrasher does show up and the two
begin to fight. During the fight it is revealed that silhouette
survived but lost the use of her legs. Across the street, on top
of a building, Midnight's Fire's gang threatens to open fire on the
crowd of people below unless Night Thrasher releases Midnight's
Fire. Then Midnight's Fire tells them to fire at the
Warriors. The New Warriors take down the gang and destroy the
weapons they stole from A.I.M. Silhouette renounces Midnight's
Fire as her brother and he is arrested by the police.
