Powers:  Timeslip has the power to slow down time around her making it seem as if she is moving quickly.  She also has the ability to project herself forward or backward in time and inhabit her body in that time period with her present consciousness, while the consciousness of her past or future self inhabits her present self.  This often results in Timeslip becoming disoriented afterwards.

History:  Rina Patel began seeing visions of the death of Speedball and of herself as a member of the New Warriors.  In order to prevent Speedball's death she confronted Carlton LaFroyge, who she knew was Hindsight from her visions.  Carlton tried to avoid Rina and accidentally stepped onto a street in the way of an oncoming truck.  Rina used her powers to save Carlton, gaining his trust.  Carlton then introduced Rina to the rest of the New Warriors so that she could tell them about her visions.  Carlton even gave her a costume and a com badge.  Rina began to accompany the New Warriors on their missions.  Finally, the vision of Speedball's death came true when the Sphinx murdered Speedball.  But before his death, Speedball touched Rina which triggered a connection between them and Rina learned that the Speedball that died was not the true Robbie Baldwin, but a duplicate sent back in time who was really Darion Grobe.  Rina learned that Darion sent himself back as Speedball in order to stop his father, Advent.  Advent attempted to destroy the New Warriors after Speedball's death, but Rina ran in front of Advent's blast.  Because of Rina's time altering powers, the New Warriors were not killed and were instead sent to the future where a hologram of Darion Grobe explained what happened.  Rina was able to defeat Advent and, with some advice from the Sphinx, able to help the New Warriors return to their proper time, along with the real Speedball who had unknowingly spent almost a year inside the kinetic dimension.  After the ordeal with Advent, Rina officially became a member of the New Warriors.  Rina later helped the New Warriors defeat the Dire Wraith Queen who had devised a device that would rob every superhuman of their powers.  Rina was able to slow down time enough to weaken the blast of the device so that it would only temporarily disable to powers of the superhumans who were close by.  However, since Rina was at the heart of the blast, it was uncertain for a while if her powers would ever return.  After some time, Rina was later seen in a video being chased by an angry mob because of her relationship with the New Warriors, who were hated because of the disaster in Stamford, CT.  Rina was seen wearing her costume, so it can be safely assumed that her powers did eventually return to her.
