Powers:  Speedball's powers come from the kinetic dimension.  He can absorb kinetic energy and redirect it, allowing him to bounce.  When he is Speedball he has a force field around him which is almost impenetrable.  He has in the past been able to remove kinetic energy from objects such as bullets causing them to stop and fall to the ground before they hit him.  Robbie Baldwin changes into Speedball by absorbing kinetic force, such as being punched or hitting his hand against a wall.

Powers as Penance:  Penance's powers are triggered by pain.  He still has control over kinetic energy, but it appears to be on a much larger scale.
