Powers:  Silhouette has the power to travel through the darkforce dimension via shadows, often referred to as "shadow melting".  Silhouette can also phase parts or all of her body while in the shadows, becoming intangible.  Although her legs are paralyzed, Silhouette has enhanced strength, speed, and reflexes making her a formidable combatant.  Her crutches also house an assortment of weapons.

 

 

History:  Before the New Warriors formed, Silhouette and her brother, Midnight's Fire, were working alongside Dwayne Taylor to bring down local gangs.  Silhouette was working undercover with a gang when they were discovered by two police officers.  Silhouette was caught in a crossfire of gunshots after Dwayne stopped Midnight's Fire from hurting the two police officers.  Enraged that Dwayne had stopped him, Midnight's Fire carried Silhouette away and they both disappeared for a time.  Silhouette appeared later after Midnight's Fire tried to take revenge on Dwayne, though now she was paralyzed from the waist down.  Silhouette started a relationship with Dwayne and eventually joined the New Warriors. 

Silhouette later discovered that her father was Andrew Chord.  Her mother had faked their deaths so that they wouldn't fall prey to Tai who had elaborately planned to use the offspring of the Daughters of the Dragon to gain control over the Well of All Things.  But Tai discovered Silhouette's mother, Miyami, was still alive and killed her before Silhouette had the chance to know her.  Tai, revealed to be Silhouette's maternal grandmother, was later defeated by the Warriors. 

Silhouette's and Night Thrasher's relationship eventually ended and Silhouette began seeing Dwayne's half brother, Bandit.  She eventually left the team in order to explore the increased control of her powers and her relationship with Bandit.
