History: Carlton LaFroyge accidentally stumbled upon evidence that his neighbor, Robbie Baldwin was really Speedball. He used this information to blackmail Speedball and the other New Warriors to let him join their team. Even though he had no superhuman powers, Carlton adopted the name Hindsight Lad and began wearing a ridiculous homemade costume complete with a helmet sporting two rearview mirrors. He insisted that he could still be a benefit to the team by offering them strategic advice. But his continual obnoxious behavior caused him to be intolerable by the Warriors. Carlton eventually did prove to be an asset to the team as he played an integral part in assembling an auxiliary team of New Warriors to rescue the core team after they had been displaced in time by the male Sphinx.
Eventually, Carlton gave up his ridiculous costume and started calling himself Hindsight, saying that he had outgrown the "Lad" stage. He also showed initiative, as well as questionable practices, by embezzling money from the Avengers in order to by replacement uniforms and communication badges for the members of the New Warriors. Hindsight also came to be a sort of caretaker for the New Warriors headquarters, the Crashpad. He also introduced the team to Rina Patel, who would later join the New Warriors as Timeslip. Hindsight also set about trying to unlock the once hidden underground levels of the Crashpad. When he succeeded he discovered that the underground levels were inhabited by the Pearl sect of Hydra. Luckily, the Avengers had recently discovered of the embezzlement of their funds and gone to the Warriors seeking answers. The New Warriors and Avengers fought against the Pearl Sect and defeated them with the help of Hindsight. The Avengers forgave the Warriors and Hindsight for the embezzlement and let them keep the com badges and costumes as gifts.
After the New Warriors defeated the Dire Wraith Queen, Volx, fellow teammate, Turbo, offered to share the Torpedo armor with Carlton. But the Warriors drifted apart soon after and Carlton quit being Hindsight. After the Stamford disaster, in which a recently reformed New Warriors team had played a part in causing the deaths of 612 people, Carlton began hating the New Warriors and was ashamed of his prior involvement with them. He published a New Warriors hate site that he used to reveal the true identities of many of his teammates and some of their allies. A group of former Warriors and allies tracked the hate site to Carlton and they soon confronted him, forcing him to shut down the website.
